OPENING:

: Adventist Technical High School (ATHIS) Umuola, No. 1 New Umuahia Road, Aba, Nigeria, was established in 2014 by Aba East Conference of Seventh Day Adventist Church, under the administration of Pastor Joel N. Ubani – President, Pastor Vine C. Nowsu – Secretary, and Elder Felix M. Nwogu – Treasurer. Adventist Technical High School was opened on Monday 29th September 2014 with 121 students under the pioneer leadership of the following:

• Pastor Obioma Agharanya– Principal;
• Mr. L. P. Obediah – Vice Principal;

THE NAME:

The name Adventist Technical High School with the abbreviation (acronym) – ATHIS, was suggested by Professor C. F. Ezeama, and was accepted and given to the school by the Aba East Conference Executive Committee.
